South West Ayrshire Club show and sale
The South West Ayrshire Breeders club combined with guest consignments consigned 92 Pedigree Ayrshires which were sold at Exeter Livestock Centre (Kivells) including milking cows and heifers, In calf, bulling and young heifers of all ages along with 2 young bulls.
A small show took place prior to the sale where Judge, Robert Adams selected his Champion, Lot 44 Butterbesley Lieu Hillary EX90, by Halmyre Urr Lieutenant, milking in her 5th lactation, who went on to sell for 1800gns. Reserve Champion was the milking heifer, Lot 41 Bowden Creepy Crackle, sired by Ardmore Jeepers Creepers from the Bowden Farm Partnership. She sold at 2150gns and features in the picture.
Top price of the day was for lot 64 Hilltown Star 702 from the Nicholls family who sold for 2800gns to Laura Astley, Sunshine Ayrshires. This fresh young cow was sired by Des Fleurs Saguenay. Numerous lots were sold for over 2300gns including:

There was also good demand for all young stock successfully finding new homes.
