Ayrshires lead the way at Borderway

The April Border & Lakeland Club sale & Coloured Breeds Spring sale was packed from start to finish with quality with the day ending with over 250 lots sold. The trade for fresh Holstein was subdued compared to the previous month with Holsteins topping at 2,650gns to average £1,727. The trade of the day was for the Ayrshire heifers topping at 3,450gns to average £1,750. Jersey heifers topped at 2,200gns to average £1,252.
