Judges announced for the 2017 ABAB Calf Show

The All Breeds All Britain Calf Show takes place on the 14th and 15th October at The Three Counties Showground, Malvern Worcestershire.
The Ayrshire Judge is Dave Christophers from Truro in Cornwall. Dave works on the family farm under the world renowned Rosehill Prefix. He also has a small herd of his own under the Trerose Prefix.
Dave has judged all over the country and two of his highlights were officiating at the Northern Ireland Calf Show 2016 and judging the Guernsey classes at the ABAB in 2015.
"It is a great honour to be asked to judge the Ayrshires at this years calf show, which I always consider to be one of the main highlights of the year.
The Showmanship Judge for all coloured breeds is Sam Wake." Sam is well known by many of you as the Sales and Marketing Manager for Cattle Services Ayr Ltd who are the marketing arm of the Ayrshire Cattle Society promoting and marketing British Ayrshire Genetics. Sam has also been involved with HYB for many years. He also currently owns a small successful herd of Holsteins under the Blydale Prefix with his wife Tracey and two young sons Edward and Oliver.
Sam has judged showmanship classes all over the country as well as having been very successful in competition over the years himself. He is delighted to have received the invite to judge such a prestigous event and is very much looking forward to the occasion.
