This year's sale topped at 1380 gns for the super fresh third calver “Lyner Alex Noddy VG85” from C Walters, Launceston. David Sayer of Bridgwater sold some East Church bred heifers for 1200 gns (twice), and also sold a homebred heifer “Denmans Elegant Tulip” by Haresfoot Elegant for 1150 gns. In-calf heifers sold to a cracking trade and John Vooght sold five Hilltown bred heifers which were due in July to sexed Platinum - topping at 1300 gns with others to 1280 gns, 1250 gns and 1080 gns with a very creditable average of £1224! Another sold for 1100 gns which was a Hilltown bred heifer from Tri-Star Genetics of Bude.
A consignment of Organic Ayrshires from Mark Evans’ East Church herd sold to a top of 1200 gns for “East Church Brazils Toffee Maker” by Palmyra Reality Brazil, with others selling for 1150 gns and 1120 gns. Yearlings sold to a super trade topping at 700 gns for “Lyner Oblique Brandysnap” by Hilltown Oblique from C Walters. Trevor Howe of Truro had a strong trade for his heifers which reached 700 gns for “Gadles Napier Seren”, a July born heifer by Ardmore Crown Napier. Others from the same vendor went for 680 gns (twice), 620 gns and 600 gns. Two bulls also from the Lyner sold at 1020 gns.
