Joseph Armstrong - Plaskett

The Armstrong family of Plaskett Ayrshires wish to share with members of the Society of the passing of Joe Armstrong.

In Joe's 97 years, he dedicated his time to the Ayrshire Cow. The Plaskett herd, and breeding was his passion and this was recognised world wide. The whole family were so proud when Joe was awarded a Society Lifetime Achievement award in 2015.

Joe also had the church at heart, he rarely missed a service and was recognised for his commitment to the Holme St Cuthbert Church and Parish, was awarded an Church Warden Emeriuts in 2023.

A larger then life character that enjoyed everything he turned his hand to, not forgetting his witty and cheeky manor that kept everyone on their toes.

"You have to have determination, and something to look forward to every week".

Joe will be sorely missed but remembered by everyone.
