Type Classification Service Price Increase

Holstein UK has experienced unprecedented increases across the majority of its direct costs and the Board of Trustees have reluctantly agreed that a price increase needs to be applied from 1st November 2022. Unfortuatley the Society have no option but to pass this increase to members.

The impace of the changes is summarised below:

Flat rate fee of £122.98 for visits of 1 - 15 animals.
For visits where 16 - 100 animals are inspected - £8.21 per animal
From 101st animal to 150th animal the headage fee will reduce to £4.61 per animal
From 151st animal upwards the headage fee reduces to £3.58 per animal
Single Bull inspected alongside females - £20.00
A Classification special visit (defined as a non-scheduled visit outside the regular cycle agreed for that herd) £250.00 (to include the first 20 inspections)
Special Bull visit £122.98
Cancellation charge of less than 3 days’ notice will incur a charge of £122.98
