Britain's first ever Tag Sale of Pedigree livestock was held recently at Catrine House, Ayrshire, home of the show winning Syke Ayrshires, Holsteins and Jerseys owned by Willy and Jo Templeton.

Top priced Ayrshire for the evening was the much admired heifer Syke Glencairn Lolita VG 87 2YR sired by the UK's number one Ayrshire bull ARDMORE CROWN NAPIER EX 95 with her maternal grand sire being WAXHAM EXECUTIVE. Only six weeks calved and recently classified VG 87 2YR this exciting young prospect was much admired for her bone quality and locomotion (VG 89) and fantastic mammary system (VG 87), traits we have come to expect from her world renowned sire.
She sold to Senor Savadore Esqueirdo who is establishing his own herd of Ayrshires in Ayrshire with quality purchases from throughout the UK. He will be looking to build on her previous show wins at junior level and she certainly is an exciting prospect for the forthcoming show season.
