Northern National Ayrshire Sale At Carlisle

The Northern National Ayrshire Sale at Carlisle saw trade peak twice at 3700gns. First to achieve this was the Reserve Champion of the show lot one, Cuthill Towers Regal Ray 11 from Arthur and Susan Lawrie. This VG 85 scored daughter of the home bred bull Cuthill Towers Romeo is out of six generations of very good or excellent dams and in her second lactation having calved a month ago.
Also making the same money was Smartmove Remington Ping from the Smartmove Syndicate. This February 2012 born Mapleburn Remington daughter is out of the famous Forever Schoon Ping EX 94 from Canada who is one of seven consecutive dams scored very good or excellent.
At 3200 gns was the top price bull, Cuthill Towers Dreamer Roy again from the Lawrie family. Born September 2012 he is by Nexus Dreamer and out of the EX 94 Cuthill Towers Regal Ray 5 who gave 12,331 kg at 4.0% bf and 3.61% p in her last lactation and is from the same family as the top price cow.
Staying with the same consignors at 2800 gns was the fresh heifer Cuthill Towers Ristourn Apple. She is by Lagace Ristourn and out of a Morwick Sand Ranger Red daughter.
Also from the Lawries at 2700gns was Cuthill Towers Romeo Lindsay, a fresh Cuthill Towers Romeo sired heifer also out of a dam by Morwick Sand Ranger Red.
The Champion of the show was Lot 2 from the Smartmove Syndicate who sold the fresh second calved Smartmove Poker Loulou recently scored VG 85 at 2600 gns. This Des Chamois Poker daughter is out of the Canadian EX 94 scored Woodland View Paddy daughter Faucher Paddy Loulou.
