Cattle Services Daughters Dominate This Year's UK Dairy Expo

A fantastic show of Ayrshire Cattle at the UK Dairy Expo again saw daughters of Cattle Services bulls dominate the show. In the heifer show Rosehill Vitality sired both the maiden heifer winner – Sandyford Vitality Spottie and the in-calf heifer winner – Sandyford Vitality Bunty 2. These two fantastic heifers then went on to the Junior Championship, and this saw Bunty 2 become Champion and Spottie Reserve. Following these two heifers in Hon. Mention position was a daughter of Haresfoot Brazen, Holmeswood Ella 2.
In the milking classes, the Ayrshire two year old winner was another daughter of Rosehill Vitality – Sandyford Vitality Queenie. The second milking class of the day went to Holmeswood Elegant Bella, and Bella is a daughter of Haresfoot Elegant. The final milking class of the day was won by the Changue Stadium daughter – Changue Martha 49.
In the Championship, Changue Martha 49 was champion with reserve going to Holmeswood Elegant Bella. This made a clean sweep in both the Junior and Grand Championship for daughters of Cattle Services bulls.
Premier sire of the show was Rosehill Vitality. Congratulations to the breeders and exhibitors of these great cows.
